A modern Peking Opera, Nong Chao, which depicts the innovation and progress of the people in Qingdao Port, East China's Shandong province, made its debut at the Qingdao Grand Theatre on April 18.
The opera, performed by the Qingdao Peking Opera Theater, was originally named Eastern Port. The story and spirit of the era exemplified by Zhang Liangang, a senior expert of Shandong Port Group, and his Liangang Innovation Team deeply moved the audience, promoting the spirit of the new era's craftsmanship and telling the story of Qingdao through traditional Chinese culture.
