Qingdao set to provide 'fertile soil' for growth of enterprises in innovation

Governments at all levels in Qingdao have introduced supportive policies and launched a three-year campaign to cultivate high-tech enterprises. It is expected that the total number of high-tech enterprises in the city will exceed 8,000, a year-on-year increase of 20 percent, this year.
Qingdao has also revised and improved the measures to support the listing of high-tech enterprises on the stock exchange. This year, three new high-tech companies in Qingdao were listed, bringing the total number to 44.
In addition, Qingdao has also put forward measures to help enterprises become a key body for organizing scientific research and play a leading role in the construction of a modern industrial system.
In the first three quarters of this year, the output value of high-tech industries in Qingdao accounted for 65.7 percent of the city's total, 14 percentage points higher than the provincial average.
