The "Laoshan Taoist" reading club event took place in Qingdao's sister city of Regensburg, Germany, on July 15.

The event was organized by the information office of the Qingdao municipal people's government.

The reading club invited citizens of Regensburg to read the book titled Laoshan Taoist, which serves as an introduction to Laoshan Mountain and helps readers better understand Chinese culture through classic stories related to this famous mountain.

The event also showcased pictures of Laoshan Mountain's unique scenery.

Situated in Shandong province, Laoshan Mountain is widely recognized as China's most renowned coastal mountain. It has a great significance in Taoism and serves as a symbol of Shandong culture.

Organizers also prepared promotional materials like postcards, notepads, and bookmarks that were distributed during the event to help Regensburg citizens learn more about Qingdao.
