The industrial park project, one of the critical projects in Qingdao for this year, has amassed an impressive total investment of more than 3 billion yuan ($414.03 million). The project aims to develop an area of about 105 hectares, of which the first start-up area covers about 11 hectares. When the project is all completed and put into operation, it can achieve an annual output value of 5 billion yuan.
Focusing on four primary business sectors, including manufacturing, recycling, logistics trading, and commercial trade, the industrial park is expected to build a national-class demonstration park for the natural stone business.
The park is set to construct a raw material storage and trading hub, a green stone production and processing base, as well as a stone product exhibition and sales area to promote the green transformation and upgrading of the stone processing industry.
