The City Clubs Open Regatta International 2023 will be held in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province from April 27 to May 1.

Over 230 competitors representing 33 teams from Beijing, Shanghai, Hubei, Fujian, Jiangsu, as well as other provinces and cities will participate in the competition.

A number of top international judges with Olympic experience will be introduced to set up an arbitration team this year.

The race will open to the public, as well as provide convenient and user-friendly racing rental services. Live network broadcasts will be available this year to attract more engagement, according to the organizers.

The organizing committee is well prepared to ensure that every participant can fully enjoy the excitement and joy of the competition.

Founded in Qingdao in 2010, the City Clubs Open Regatta has been listed in the calendar by World Sailing and is a high-end sailing event of Qingdao's own brand.

Known as "China's sailing capital", Qingdao played host to the sailing events of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and welcomed the world's best sailors. The city has hosted many large-scale international events, including the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, the Extreme Sailing Series, and the ISAF Sailing World Cup.
