A mini jellyfish aquarium was recently launched at the Qilu No 1 Experimental Primary School in Qingdao's West Coast New Area, local media reported.

Donated by Qingdao Underwater World, the aquarium will help students learn about the life cycles and living environment of jellyfish, expand their knowledge of the ocean, and raise their awareness about the importance of protecting the ocean, according to teachers from the school.

The mini aquarium, which features live jellyfish, is equipped with facilities such as microscopes, LCD screens and panels containing facts about jellyfish.

Jellyfish at the mini aquarium will be raised by students at the school. The students will cooperate to measure temperature, salinity, ph value, and other tasks needed to maintain the aquarium.
