A creative handicraft bazaar opened on Daxue Road, Shinan district, Qingdao on June 6 as a part of a one-month cultural event.

A local artistic block including Daxue Road, Huangxian Road, Yexian Road, and Longjiang Road boasts more than 40 unique cafes, pottery rooms, tea houses, and other handicraft workshops. 

Visitors can try their hands at creating silverworks, pots, and leather products at a number of workshops, purchase small decorations and souvenirs at grocery stores, and enjoy tasty desserts and drinks at cafes.

The block features both old urban areas and many fashion stores. It has become famous throughout the region with the help of the internet.
