Located at No 19 Dayao No 3 Road in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province, Shinan District Library opened in June 2001 and is a national first-class library. Covering 2,100 square meters, the library has 360 seats for readers, and 450,000 books (230,000 books in the main library and 220,000 in community libraries, of which 4,500 are in the Zhanshan Community Library in Zhanshan Street).
