A vibrant exhibition featuring an array of folk New Year paintings opened on March 14 at the Qingdao Municipal Cultural Center.

Organized by the Qingdao municipal bureau of culture, radio, television, press and publication, the exhibition is designed to promote regional intangible cultural heritages, as well as enrich local people's cultural lives.

According to the organizers, the exhibition, displaying New Year paintings that depict the lives in Shandong rural community with rich palettes and strong artistic expressions, will tour across the city.
