The 2026 Shandong–Global Partners Dialogue on Open Cooperation will be held in Beijing on Jan 20. This high-level event represents a new flagship initiative following the Qingdao Multinationals Summit and the Conference of Great Business Partners.

With the tagline "Join hands with global partners, write new chapters of cooperation", the dialogue will gather ambassadors to China from ASEAN, the European Union, Republic of Korea, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America, alongside representatives of international organizations, multinationals, and sister cities.

Discussions will focus on key provincial opening-up platforms for 2026, such as the Qingdao Multinationals Summit, Shandong International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Exchange Week, and China International Consumer Electronics Exposition.

Coinciding with the approaching Chinese New Year, the event will show Shandong's rich culture through intangible cultural heritage displays and traditional customs. This cultural presentation aims to deepen global partners' connection with the province and foster future collaboration.
