Jiaxiang's tech-driven ski glove industry takes off

Over the past three decades, Jiaxiang county, Jining, Shandong province, has emerged as one of China's largest production bases for ski gloves. With over 300 glove manufacturing and processing enterprises and 50 supporting companies, the county produces approximately 80 million pairs of gloves annually.

Products from Jiaxiang county are exported to more than 60 countries and regions worldwide, including Europe, America, Japan, and South Korea, and account for half of the domestic ski glove market. The glove industry has directly employed over 20,000 people in Jiaxiang and indirectly supported the employment of nearly 50,000 individuals in related industries.

Shandong Jianhua Zhongxing Glove is a leading enterprise in Jiaxiang's ice and snow sports apparel industry chain and a prime example of technological innovation. The company has incorporated advanced technologies into its glove products, developing specialized gloves for various activities such as skiing, hunting, and shooting. Features like flame resistance, puncture resistance, and electric heating have been integrated into their products. Additionally, the company has actively pursued intellectual property protection, securing many patents to support its sustainable development.

In Jiaxiang county, ski gloves are not merely for warmth; they are a fusion of technology, fashion, and functionality. Local glove manufacturers have been investing heavily in research and development, collaborating with renowned institutions like Donghua University and Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology to create innovative products that cater to diverse consumer needs. Through these efforts, Jiaxiang has positioned itself as a global center for high-quality, technologically advanced ski gloves.
