Cultural exchange event held in Japan

Print PrintThe "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong" Exhibition and Tasting event was held in Wakayama, Japan on Dec 12. The event showed the rich cultural heritage and high-quality products of Shandong province.
A dedicated exhibition area featured a wide range of handcrafted products and traditional crafts from each of Shandong's 16 cities, including exquisite glass artworks from Zibo, intricate embroidery, and fine ceramics. Interactive zones allowed visitors to experience traditional crafts firsthand and try on traditional costumes, immersing themselves in the unique charm of Shandong culture.

To further enrich the cultural exchange, the event also included exhibition areas showing the scenic beauty of Shandong's 16 cities and the profound influence of Confucianism. With the help of pictures and brochures in Japanese, visitors deepened their understanding of Shandong's major attractions.

A zone about Confucius had mini-statues of the scholar, which provided a more engaging way to learn about Confucianism and its cultural significance.
Japanese visitors showed great enthusiasm for the event and gave positive feedback for the exhibited products. This event has built a new bridge for cultural exchange between China and Japan and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
