In response to the surging growth of new energy and renewable energy installations in recent years, Shandong Liaocheng Power Supply Company of State Grid has been stepping up efforts to inspect electrical transformers and lines and eliminate risks in electrical facilities.

On May 2, workers from the company conducted a routine equipment inspection at a photovoltaic power station in Liaocheng, Shandong province, to help users identify safety hazards and ensure the stable operation of the power station.

Routine inspections primarily focus on examining inverters, grid-connected boxes, and metering devices for photovoltaic customers, while also conducting detailed inspections of photovoltaic components, inverters and other equipment, added Zhao Guojun, an employee of the company.

As of the end of March, the installed capacity of renewable energy power generation in Shandong's Liaocheng had soared to 4.54 million kilowatts, constituting 23.46 percent of the city's total installed power capacity, a remarkable 22.63 percent increase year-on-year.

Adhering to the nation's dual-carbon goals, the company continues to strengthen follow-up visits and offer one-stop services to its clients. It is also working closely with local governments and photovoltaic installation enterprises to offer accurate and convenient photovoltaic project consultation services.

In recent years, the company has enhanced support measures and service mechanisms for photovoltaic users, improved daily inspections and maintenance, and advanced green development through practical action, optimizing the business environment for power supply and empowering rural vitalization.
