Nestled amidst the fertile lands of Pingyi county, Linyi city, Shandong province, Difang town has earned the well-deserved title of "Hometown of Canned Fruits." With its 64 cannery enterprises and 15 supporting businesses, the town produces an impressive 700,000 metric tons of canned fruits annually, accounting for one-third of the nation's total output.

The Shandong Yuquan Cold Chain Logistics Project in Difang town, a comprehensive endeavor encompassing both cold chain logistics and fruit and vegetable processing, has revolutionized Difang town's canned fruits industry.

Its advanced constant low-temperature warehouses, accounting for 70 percent of the town's cold chain storage, allow for the local preservation of fresh produce. This facility mitigates losses incurred from the delayed sale of seasonal fruits. Furthermore, the project's fruit and vegetable pre-processing and quick-freezing workshops have achieved remarkable efficiency, transforming yellow peaches into frozen delicacies in just 45 minutes, preserving their nutritional value and freshness.

In recent years, Difang town has embarked on a journey of transformation, extending its reach up and down the industrial chain to modernize its canning operations. The introduction of intelligent and automated production lines epitomize the town's unwavering commitment to transitioning from low-end processing to high-end manufacturing, enhancing both the scale of production and the quality of products.

This transformation not only elevates the town's position in the domestic market but also paves the way to a sustainable future, ensuring the continued prosperity of the town's canning industry for generations to come.
