More international capital is expected to enter China and unleash greater potential through the Qingdao Multinationals Summit, said Bi Hua, executive director and chief executive officer of Greatview Aseptic Packaging.

"This is my first time attending the summit, and I am hoping to learn more about cutting-edge information and business models from other enterprises," said Bi at the three-day summit, which started on Oct 10 in Qingdao, a coastal city in eastern China's Shandong province.

Greatview's 20-year-old aseptic packaging material production firm in Liaocheng, Shandong province has been supporting the development of the company's factories in Inner Mongolia, Qingdao, as well as those in Germany and Italy.

The group is now the world's third-largest supplier of aseptic packaging for liquid food products, and its overseas business accounts for approximately 40 percent of its overall business volume.

In line by its circular economy growth strategy, Greatview invested in Shandong Shunrunkang Environmental Protection Housekeeping Co, a company that specializes in packaging reuse and reprocessing, last year.

"Greatview is looking for cooperation partners who are likewise interested in the circular economy and have suitable policy backing, and we look forward to assisting more regions and businesses in their green development by recycling discarded milk cartons," Bi said.
