The move was to invite Brazilian friends from all walks of life to visit Shandong, enjoy the spectacular view of the Yellow River flowing into the sea, admire the picturesque landscape of the province's coastal areas and explore the unique cultural charms of the region.

Shandong, a populous province along China's east coast, is a dynamic region known for its strong economy, rich culture and vibrant tourism industry.

With a population of more than 100 million, it ranks as the country's third-biggest economy.
