French food enterprise Andros launches new project in Linyi

Andros Shandong project announced the completion of the first phase and the ground-breaking of the second phase at its launch ceremony held in Yinan county, Linyi, East China's Shandong province on June 27.

Linyi has been working actively to expand investment in Europe and Northern America in recent years. Fruitful results have been achieved in Linyi, including 15 French-invested enterprises with a total investment of $40.95 million.

Andros from France is a world famous food enterprise with a long history of food production and operation. Its products are sold well in more than 100 countries and regions globally.

Linyi signed a strategic framework agreement with Andros to invest in the construction of Andros Shandong Factory in Zhujialin Rural Complex in Yinan county in October 2018. Based on the project, the two sides plans to give full play to their advantages and carry out in-depth cooperation in an all-round way.

When officially put into operation, the project is expected to achieve an annual production and processing capacity of 100,000 metric tons of fruits, with annual revenue and profit reaching 2 billion yuan ($299 million) and 200 million yuan, respectively.

In addition, the project is confident to generate more than 700 jobs for locals, which is of great significance to drive the development of the fruit planting and processing industry in Yinan and other counties and districts in Linyi city, raise farmers' incomes and push forward rural vitalization.
