Heze in Shandong province promoted itself through a pavilion at the 2nd China International Cultural Tourism Expo, which was held in Jinan, Shandong province from Sept 16 to 20.

Chen Qiang, head of the city's publicity department, as well as Hou Jie, deputy mayor of the Heze municipal government, led a delegation from the city in participating at the expo.

The Heze pavilion showcased various themed exhibitions covering peony exhibitions, brocade weaving skills, as well as other intangible cultural heritage items.
