SD Talent Group, the first provincial talent company in the country, was launched on April 18 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.

The company, approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government, is part of the province's efforts to develop and allocate human resources by market means and nurture talent.

The company will help foster more comprehensive, coordinated, and sustainable social and economic development driven by science, technology, and talent. It will also help improve systems and mechanisms for talent development, stimulate the creativity of talented people, and bring in and train more top talent and teams.

"Focusing on our positions to gather high-end talent, serve talent development, and stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship, we will carry out eight core businesses, including talent recruitment and introduction, talent data sharing, talent precision services, talent entrepreneurship and investment, talent park operations, talent strategy consulting, talent training and evaluation, and talent activity planning," said Wang Weizhong, chairman of SD Talent Group.

According to Wang, the company will also establish a talent development alliance with other talent enterprises in the province's 16 cities to better serve the province's high-quality development.

The company signed cooperation agreements with associations and leading enterprises in human resources. It also forged ties with local government departments, research institutes and State-owned enterprises.
