Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, has been listed among the second group of national pilot cities to promote the integrated development of industry and finance.

A total of 51 cities in China were listed, including five regions and cities in Shandong - Yantai, Weifang, Dezhou, Jimo district in Qingdao and Jinan.

The cities will receive more supports from the government in promoting the coordinated development of industry and finance and establishing financial institutions to support the real economy.

The local government will increase the supply of medium- and long-term credit loans to financial institutions, improve industrial internet services, and promote the application of digital technology in the finance sector.

More efforts will be made to strengthen industry-finance cooperation in policy guidance, training exchange and financing capacity.

Jinan is now accelerating the construction of its central business district, and has established Hanyu Gold Valley and Shandong New Financial Industry Park as supporting facilities.
