Senior Chinese legislator chairs first meeting of China-Belarus legislative cooperation committee
On May 28, Zhang Qingwei, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, co-chaired the first meeting of the China-Belarus legislative cooperation committee with Natalia Kochanova, chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, in Beijing.
The two sides exchanged views on topics related to China-Belarus relations, communication between legislative bodies of their respective countries, legislative experience sharing, as well as economic and trade cooperation.
