The Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial People's Congress conducted a field survey, participated by a team of national and regional lawmakers, on the development of the digital economy and digital transformation of industries in the province on May 26.

The team visited a national-level advanced computing innovation center and Shanxi Cloud Era Technology, a leading enterprise in the province's digital information industry.

Lawmakers learned about efforts in advanced computing development, new infrastructure projects, and the health QR code system that is being used in China's COVID-19 response.

The team recognized the province's achievements in promoting the digital economy and digital transformation of industries and also urged more efforts to support innovation-driven and high-quality growth.
