The National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) attended the 2021 Committee Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Inspection Cooperation Scheme (PIC/S) as a pre-accession member on Oct 19, introducing China's efforts to carry out good manufacturing practice (GMP) inspection and expressing its willingness to become a PIC/S member and conduct practical cooperation with all parties.

During the meeting, discussions were focused on such topics as the development and revision of relevant PIC/S appendixes, the coordination between PIC/S and the ICH Guidance and related training, as well as the identifier for the unique manufacturing premises.
