Main responsibilities

(1) Organize training programs as planned by NMPA. Undertake the national training in rotation for the heads of local drug regulatory departments and their affiliated institutions.

(2) Undertake the training for the relevant departments of NMPA and its affiliated institutions, and carry out initial appointment, employment, on-the-job and specialized training for civil servants. Undertake the training entrusted by the provincial drug regulatory departments.

(3) Implement executive development for government officials.

(4) Undertake the teaching and training for Party members and cadres at Party schools of NMPA and carry out the construction of relevant disciplines.

(5) Undertake theoretical research on regulatory policies and strategic research on the personnel development.

(6) Be responsible for the construction of relevant disciplines, courses and teaching material system.

(7) Undertake emergency safety trainings and drills.

(8) Be responsible for the construction and management of teachers engaged in education and training.

(9) Undertake the management of post-doctoral scientific research workstation. Cooperate to carry out education on academic qualifications and degrees.

(10) Carry out training in regulatory laws, policies and professional skills for the public. Organize and carry out the identification of professional skills of employees in key positions of industry safety.

(11) Undertake international (regional) exchange and cooperation in education and training.

(12) Undertake other tasks assigned by NMPA.
