Kouryo allocates $30M for smart logistics hub in NHIZ
The Xinsheng Technology Retail and Warehouse Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Project, with an investment of $30 million, began construction on Oct 28 in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ).
Funded by Japan's Kouryo Co, the project covers 27 mu (1.8 hectares) and will serve as a comprehensive hub for R&D, manufacturing, and sales of intelligent logistics and warehousing equipment once finished. Completion and operation are anticipated by August 2026.
Kouryo holds core advantages in radio frequency identification technology and AI algorithms. This project represents an essential move in its strategic plan to expand into the Chinese market. Upon completion, it will boost the intelligent industrial cluster in NHIZ and accelerate the industry's digital and intelligent transformation.
