Nantong semiconductor park builds 24-hour innovation ecosystem
Breaking away from conventional industrial park models, Nantong Semiconductor Optoelectronics Industrial Park in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) features round-the-clock amenities including 24-hour dining services, a fully-equipped fitness center, and a curated reading space.
Launched in 2023 as a specialized industrial cluster, the park strategically focuses on semiconductor end-use applications, electronic information systems, and auxiliary materials development. Its integrates upstream suppliers and downstream manufacturers, aiming to create a vertically integrated value chain within the semiconductor industry.
In addition to essential facilities like a chemical storage warehouse required for semiconductor optoelectronics manufacturing processes, it also features a steam heat exchange station, heavy metal wastewater collection ponds, and other infrastructure. This comprehensive supporting framework is designed to help companies reduce operational costs and enhance market competitiveness.
The first phase project has completed the construction of 18 four-story high-standard, energy-saving, and insulated factory buildings, attracting renowned domestic and international companies such as Dugen Optoelectronics, Youzhong Micro-Nano, and Nash Tech to establish operations.
In September 2025, the second phase of the park project will break ground, covering an area of 149 mu (9.93 hectares).
