Many recruiters and job seekers braved the rain for job recruitment in the Dearshiqiao human resources market and the non-local service center in Haimen district – administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province – on Feb 25.

As the home textile enterprises resumed production after the recent Spring Festival, the demand for employees surged. To attract more workers, the enterprises have left generous treatment conditions that a skilled sewing worker can earn more than 100,000 yuan ($15,370) annually.

Dearshiqiao home textile market, located in the Jiangsu Nantong International Home Textile Industrial Park, is one of the largest markets in China with a wide range of product categories. Its products hold a national market share of more than 50 percent and are sold to over 130 countries and regions.
