Auto sunroof, bearing parts plant breaks ground in Nantong
An automotive sunroof and automotive bearing component production plant operated by Nantong Bote Automotive Parts, located in Chongchuan Economic Development Zone of Nantong city, East China's Jiangsu province, broke ground on Oct 29.
The company is mainly engaged in the research, development and production of automotive sunroofs and automotive bearing components, possessing major supply contracts with vehicle manufacturers.
With a total investment of 600 million yuan ($84.11 million), the project plans to purchase large-scale continuous hot stamping production lines and robot welding production lines to build a first-class intelligent factory.
When at full capacity, it is expected to make 80,000 sets of auto sunroofs and auto bearing components annually and achieve annual revenue of 600 million yuan.
During the project's preparation process, Chongchuan district actively coordinated resources and cooperated with the company to advance various work.
With the support of municipal and district departments, the project obtained five certificates for construction within a week.
