Chongchuan to boost project introduction of key industries
Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently launched two policies on project introduction, local media reported.
According to the policies, the district this year will focus on introducing projects related to healthcare and life sciences, electronic information, intelligent information, new materials, internet of vehicles, and information technology application innovation.
The move is meant to improve the industrial clusters of key industries in the district.
Xiushi Biological Medicine (Nantong) Co Ltd is a recently introduced company in the life science and healthcare industry.
To advance the development of the company, local authorities have provided it with research and development platforms, rent subsidies, and preferential policies for talent.
Authorities have also teamed up with well-known operators of industrial parks to improve supporting facilities in the district’s industrial parks, aiming to create a better business environment for enterprises.
According to authorities, Chongchuan this year will introduce 50 key projects, including 15 projects worth over 1 billion yuan ($144.12 million), six projects worth over 2 billion yuan and one project worth over 5 billion yuan.
In addition, the district aims to attract $480 million in foreign investment.
