Chongchuan a magnet for healthcare industry players

Authorities in Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province have in recent years been channeling more resources towards its healthcare industry.
One result of this was the construction of Baoyuehu Healthcare Industrial Park in the district.
The 110,000-square-meter incubation center for new technologies in the park is currently home to more than 50 high-tech wellness companies.
Among them is Jiangsu Guochen Medical Technology Co Ltd, which was founded in the district in 2021. Guochen Medical focuses on the research, development and manufacture of a precision medical diagnostic instrument used to identify early signs of Alzheimer's disease.
Zhao Dezhi, the general manager of Guochen Medical, said that the instrument has a diagnosis accuracy of more than 90 percent.
The healthcare industry is one of the district's six strategic emerging industries, and is presently focused on further developing its capabilities for the research and development of new medicines, innovative medical devices, precision medicine and genetic testing, according to the authorities.
