The 20th High-End Industry and Talent Cooperation Conference opened in Nantong's Tongzhou district on Nov 8.

The event brought together over 400 experts from universities and research institutions, business leaders, high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talents, and representatives from technology and financial service organizations from both China and abroad.

During the opening ceremony, the Tongzhou "Science and Technology Talent Fund" and "Talent Entrepreneurship Insurance" were announced, along with key industry chain demands. The event also saw the unveiling of the Nantong Zhongxin Group Talent and Innovation Collaboration Center and the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone International Youth Talent Harbor. Awards were given to winning projects from the 9th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, as well as projects funded by the 2024 Tongzhou "510 Talent Program" and the 2024 Nantong "Jianghai Talent Program".

At the ceremony, 25 agreements for projects related to industry, talent, innovation, and investment funds were signed.

The conference is a comprehensive platform for attracting talent, technology, projects, and capital to Tongzhou. Over the past 19 editions, it has attracted 1,088 high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talents, with 137 selected for the provincial "Double Innovation Program", 196 chosen for the city's "Jianghai Talent Program", and 399 receiving funding from the district's "510 Talent Program".
