Chon Chon Chon, a children's animation produced by Linjiang New Area of Haimen district in Nantong and a local culture media enterprise, made its debut at the MIPCOM Cannes.
MIPCOM, held in Cannes, France, between Oct 16 and 19, is one of the world's largest entertainment trade markets.
Chon Chon Chon is a science and education children's animation tailored for children aged three to seven and was officially released on May 27. It tells the story of a curious and thoughtful boy, Xiao Song, who accidentally travels to Chon Chon Town through an old toolbox. With questions about manufacturing in mind, he embarks on a journey with four little craftsmen to explore the joy of creating things.
"We are preparing to participate in the Asia TV Forum & Market in Singapore in December with this animation. Subsequently, there are prospects for the overseas distribution of this series," Pi San, planner and producer of the animation, mentioned.
The cultural and creative industry is one of the leading industries in the Lijiang New Area. Currently, the area focuses on animation, music, fine arts, and creative design. It has gathered over 20 animation production enterprises and produced over 30 projects, with six short films shortlisted in multiple international animation festivals.
