Professional visitors from Nantong, Jiangsu province, already entered the exhibition halls of the seventh China International Import Expo in Shanghai to get a glimpse of its first opening day on Nov 5.

This year, more than 47 percent of the participants in the Nantong trade delegation represent the manufacturing sector, with a significant number being regular attendees of the expo. Their objective is to foster mutually beneficial and sustainable supply-demand relationships with international suppliers and service providers.

Apart from engaging in transactions, three time-honored Nantong enterprises – Baipu Yellow Rice Wine, Yisheng Winery, and Muyifeng Winery – made their debut at the Jiangsu cultural exchange exhibition area, showcasing products with distinctive Nantong characteristics.

The seventh CIIE, which runs through Nov 10, has attracted the participation of about 3,500 overseas exhibitors, including a record 297 industry leaders and Fortune Global 500 companies.
