Nantong hosts events to explore quality development of listed firms

The 2024 High-quality Development Forum for Listed Companies was held in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Oct 24, marking the opening of the award ceremony of the 26th Golden Bull Award for Listed Companies and the third Nantong Investment Conference.
The events were organized by the Nantong municipal people's government and China Securities Journal.
The representatives from the Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Beijing Stock Exchange, China Securities Small and Medium Investors Service Center, along with nearly 500 listed companies from all over the country and investment institutions, gathered together to discuss cooperation and promote the deep integration of technology, industry, and finance.

On that day, the Nantong industrial chain development fund and the Nantong next-generation information technology industry special mother fund were launched, with a group of high-quality investment institutions signing cooperation agreements with Nantong.
Si Yong, deputy secretary-general of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, expressed the hope that Nantong would seize this forum as an opportunity to leverage the national strategy of integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta, attract more talent, capital, and resources, continuously improve the quality of listed companies, and provide more communication platforms and resource support for enterprises.
Zhang Tong, mayor of Nantong, pointed out in her speech that the city is actively creating a hub of investment. She stated that Nantong will leverage its geographical advantage to integrate into national strategies and respond positively to Shanghai.
Zhang also expressed a vision for collaboration with Xinhua News Agency and China Securities Journal, aiming to establish connections with a diverse range of listed companies and investment institutions. This is set to promote the integration of industry with capital, as well as the convergence of technology with finance.
