Recognized scenic spots in Nantong along Yangtze River

Eighteen scenic spots in Nantong, Jiangsu province, were recently added to the top 100 attractions along the Yangtze River, according to a selection event sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
The selected attractions in Nantong are categorized into natural and cultural landscapes, Red culture spots, and spots reflecting development in the new era.
Among them are Langshan Mountain National Forest Park, Yuantuojiao Resort, Kaisha Island, Seyuan Garden, Nantong Museum, Zhang Jian Memorial Hall, Shuihui Garden, Tonghai Kenmu Site, Haohe River scenic area, Tangzha Ancient Town, Jiangsu Jianghai Museum, the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese Military and Political University Ninth Branch, and Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge.

Langshan Mountain National Forest Park is home to the largest north subtropical natural secondary forest on the Jianghai Plain, with an area of 1,026 mu (68.4 hectares), which has become a paradise for animals.
Seyuan Garden has the best air quality and the highest density of air ions among all parks in China. It is regarded as one of Nantong's "green lungs" and houses the largest botanical garden in the city.
The Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge, which began operations in 2020, stretches 11,072 meters and can accommodate both cars and trains. It is expected to greatly promote the integration of the Yangtze River Delta and bolster the economy of one of China's most developed regions.
