The agreement for the Wison New Energies smart maritime engineering manufacturing base was signed in Qidong on Aug 1.
Wison New Energies, a leader in clean energy technologies, specializes in efficient, integrated EPCIC (engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning) solutions for the energy sector.
The project will be developed in two phases, costing approximately 9 billion yuan ($1.26 billion). The first phase which covers approximately 112.2 hectares will focus on the production of floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facilities, supporting modules, floating gas power generation, and floating wind power facilities. The base's capabilities will be further expanded in the second phase, which will cost around 3 billion yuan.
