The 7th Haimen Venture Week was launched in Haimen district, Nantong, Jiangsu province on May 25.

Experts and scholars from universities and research institutes, along with leaders from renowned enterprises, venture capital firms, and talent service organizations, gathered to offer insights and advice on optimizing the talent cultivation system, promoting industry-education integration, and empowering industrial transformation and upgrading in the district.

The National Equipment Manufacturing Industry Digital Supply Chain Platform (Nantong) Service Center was one of two major innovation platforms unveiled during the opening ceremony of the event.

Authorities also released the latest edition of the district's talent policies aimed at attracting urgently needed high-end industrial talent, effectively gathering young talent, and creating a first-class talent environment.

Five major events, including an entrepreneurship competition, a project roadshow, and a policy environment promotion conference, were also held during the event to facilitate the integration and collaboration of talent, technology, projects, capital, and platforms for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The district currently boasts a talent pool of 240,000 high-caliber individuals, including 145 national-level talents, and has fostered 106 high-tech companies.
