Nantong inaugurates education base for intl students

A national conditions education base, which provides education about China's situation and culture, was recently unveiled in Chongchuan district, Nantong to serve as an important platform for international cultural exchanges.

On the same day, a volunteer service project, joined by volunteer teams from the International Education College at Nantong University and Chongchuan's Xinchengqiao subdistrict, was also launched.

The two teams will explore exchanges and cooperation in cultural inheritance, environmental protection, and voluntary teaching.

Following the launch ceremonies, nearly 20 international students participated in Sino-foreign cultural exchange activities, during which they presented exotic dances and sang songs in both Chinese and English.

The students also tried playing erhu and bamboo flutes to experience the charm of traditional Chinese musical instruments, as well as visited the Culture Center at the Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University to gain a deeper understanding of Nantong as a hometown of Chinese museums.
