Authorities of Haimen district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province held the 2023 China Haimen Trade and Investment Fair on April 10.

Agreements for 41 projects with a combined investment of over 50 billion yuan ($7.26 billion) were signed at the fair.

Among them are 15 major projects and six foreign-funded ones.

More than 300 entrepreneurs from home and abroad attended the event.

Haimen has over the past few years been striving to take advantage of its geographical location and natural resources to bolster its pillar industries.

The taxable sales of the district's enterprises above designated size exceeded 100 billion yuan in 2022. It was also ranked 18th among the Top 100 counties (districts) in comprehensive power.
