Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, dispatched a business delegation to Switzerland and Germany in early March in an effort to attract more investment.

According to local authorities, this was the first delegation that Chongchuan had sent to Europe to attract investment.

During a meeting with the Economic Promotion Team of Schaffhausen, which is the only official economic institution in Switzerland with a representative office in China, the two parties introduced their local business environments and talked about their business experience.

The promotion team also introduced its local enterprise Generis AG, which will help boost cooperation between the two cities in medical devices and intelligent manufacturing.

In addition, the delegation visited the headquarters of TE Connectivity in Switzerland, during which the delegation talked with several senior executives and discussed the development of the auto industry.

In Germany, the delegation held a meeting with executives of Arrtsm, an enterprise that specializes in robots, and Gilupi, a well-known medical facility enterprise.

During this visit to Gilupi, the two sides discussed the relocation of the company's headquarters in Nantong and the research and development and production center project.
