In pics: Changqingsha Island dazzles
As temperatures cool, Changqingsha Island in Rugao, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, is tinged with with brilliant colors.
Changqingsha Island, covering an area of more than 20 square kilometers, is home to several ecological scenic spots along the Yangtze River, including Jindao Ecological Park and the Yangtze River Medicinal Botanical Garden.
Ginkgo, metasoia and maple trees on the island change colors with the seasons, turning yellow, red, orange and purple.
