Residents in Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently discovered new self-service machines at the Chongchuan government service center, local media reported.

The self-service machines have multiple functions and can provide 24-hour services to residents.

The self-service machines are meant to improve efficiency at the centers.

The new machines can provide more services than the old ones, said Xu Jie, deputy director of the administrative examination and approval authority in Chongchuan.
