The Construction of an intelligent manufacturing facility in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), East China's Jiangsu province, started on Oct 22.

The two-billion-yuan ($278.81 million) facility, which is funded by Hua'an Xinchuang Holding (Beijing) Co Ltd, will have more than 50 production lines. The production lines will specialize in products such as on-board LCD modules and cockpit display systems.

The facility is expected to generate an annual output value of 5 billion yuan and pay at least 200 million yuan in taxes, according to authorities.

Listed on the stock market in January 2021, Hua'an Xinchuang is a leading domestic enterprise that provides integrated services for intelligent cabins of automobiles.

Bao Delin, director of the administrative committee of NETDA, said that the facility will play an active role in bolstering the development of the area's new-generation information technology industry and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of its traditional industries.

He Pan, president of Hua’an Xinchuang, noted that the facility will be key to improving his company's core competitiveness and the "smart level" of China's automotive electronics industry.
