The launch ceremony of the 2022 China Nantong Jianghai International Culture and Tourism Festival was held in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Sept 27.

Eight travel routes for weekends, families, and rehabilitation were unveiled at the ceremony.

The annual culture and tourism festival will run until November, during which a variety of activities will be held.

For example, a fair themed on culture and tourism in Nantong will be held from Nov 11 to 14 to showcase the city's intangible cultural heritage, cuisine, and local products. Livestreams, night runs, cycling, and performances will also be held at the fair.

Social media influencers from Xiaohongshu, Sina Weibo, and short video platforms will be invited to promote the city's tourist attractions, while journalists from 20 mainstream media outlets in the Yangtze River Delta will tour Nantong and introduce the city's tourism attractions and culture.

Districts and counties in Nantong will also host cultural activities to celebrate the festival.

The 2022 China Nantong Jianghai International Culture and Tourism Festival is sponsored by the Culture and Tourism Department of Jiangsu Province and the Nantong Municipal People's Government and organized by the culture, broadcast, television, and tourism bureau of Nantong and the Nantong Tourism Association.
