The footpath in Langshan National Forest Park in Nantong was recently included in the first list of Jiangsu provincial forest footpaths, local media outlets reported.

The Lanjiang Lyudao footpath is built along the northern bank of the Yangtze River, offering a great view of the Huangni and Ma'an mountains.

In recent years, Langshan National Forest Park has strictly implemented the concept of "clear water and lush mountains are invaluable assets."

The 10.8-square-kilometers park boasts a forest coverage rate of more than 80 percent, due to landscape restoration efforts made over recent years.

As one of the few national forest parks in China that is located near a downtown area, Langshan National Forest Park enjoys enchanting scenery all year round, with peony and peach blossoms drawing visitors in the spring, serving as a great place to escape heat in the summer, its golden osmanthus blossoms offering beautiful sights in the autumn, as well as its snowy scenery and plum blossoms attracting people in the winter.
