A signing ceremony was held on Nov 6 for major companies to settle in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai city, at the Trade and Investment Matchmaking Conference during the ongoing Fourth China International Import Expo, or CIIE.
A number of high-level headquarters projects and industrial projects were signed on site, including those involving the Zhengbang Group, GenTech and CITIC COHC – covering advanced agriculture, intelligent manufacturing, aviation, biomedicines, semiconductors and other industries.
The companies forged strategic framework agreements with the Lin-gang Special Area Administration at the conference, worth a total of 6.5 billion yuan ($1.02 billion). Plans are for the administration to now diligently serve these firms, to promote the onset of their new ventures as soon as possible.
For the latest CIIE, the Lin-gang Special Area has meticulously organized and planned special topic promotions, participation forums, policy publicity, investment promotions and other activities.
This is to fully showcase the productive innovation breakthroughs, industry developments and urban construction achievements in the area over the past two years.
