A joint organization to promote the information and communication development of Lin-gang Special Area was unveiled at the ceremony on Dec 23.. It consists of the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, the Municipal Communications Administration, Shanghai Telecom, Shanghai Mobile, Shanghai Unicom, the Shanghai branch of China Tower, and more.

Representatives of four sub-districts and towns in Lin-gang Special Area, as well as development companies in Lin-gang Special Area, signed an agreement with the Shanghai branch of China Tower to promote the construction and application of 5G communication infrastructure.

They agreed to open places under their jurisdiction to the construction of 5G communication infrastructure at no charge.
