The World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2020 launched a forum themed on "Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Agriculture, Bright Future" in Shanghai on July 11. Lankuaikei Agricultural Development (Shanghai) Co Ltd (LAD) is the only agricultural company in Lin-gang Special Area to be presented at the forum.

At the forum, LAD expressed hope that it will develop a new model by combining AI and agriculture and taking advantage of the abundant technological resources of Lin-gang Special Area.

LAD also said that digital technology, such as intelligent perception, intelligent analysis, sensors and intelligent terminal equipment, knowledge-based systems, and agricultural and rural big data, will be widely used to promote the integration of agriculture, the countryside, and farmers.

Unlike previous digital agricultural achievements, LAD is mainly concerned with supporting farmers by using big data and AI to analyze agricultural data.

Many specialists believe that the "AI+Agriculture" industrial model will require large data and knowledge bases, and collaborative contributions from farmers, agricultural technology companies, and intelligent hardware producers.
