Shanghai Lingang Pudong New Economic Development Co Ltd and GLP Investment (Shanghai) Co Ltd signed a cooperation agreement on June 16 to build an intelligent manufacturing supporting industrial park in Luchaogang area of the Lin-gang Special Area.

In light of the market demand and industrial layout characteristics of Lin-gang industrial zones, the industrial park will focus on intelligent manufacturing and modern high-end warehousing.

The park has a planned building area of 570,000 square meters and is scheduled to begin construction in the second half of this year.

It will further accelerate digital industrial upgrading, improve industrial efficiency and reduce the economic operation costs of standard multi-functional workshops in Lin-gang.

Taking advantage of the new policies of Lin-gang Special Area, GLP will deepen cooperation with Lingang Group in logistics and industrial infrastructure, financial services, and supply chain integration.
