The Shanghai Third Intermediate People's Court, the Shanghai Third People's Procuratorate, the Anti-Smuggling Bureau of Shanghai Customs, and the Shanghai Coast Guard Bureau offered 15 suggestions for strengthening anti-smuggling work in Lin-gang Special Area on June 10.

The 15 suggestions are aimed at strengthening anti-smuggling work in the Yangshan Comprehensive Special Bonded Area and providing more solid and powerful judicial guarantees for the development of Lin-gang.

The suggestions support the implementation of various policies in the Yangshan bonded zone.

The judicial authorities will be inclusive and prudent in regulating new areas of business, including integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, biopharma, and aerospace, and implement more lenient criminal justice policies to protect the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises.

Authorities will provide judicial protections under a new supervision model, which simplifies the customs declaration system and strengthens smart supervision for inbound goods in the area.

A platform promoting the rule of law in the Lin-gang Special Area will also be established according to the suggestions.
